John Travoltais opening up about singing with not one, but twoBeatleslegends!
During an appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonon Tuesday, May 19, Travolta, 72, shared his stories of singing with bothRingo Starr,85, andPaul McCartney, 83.
Showing the audience a picture of Starr and Travolta,Fallon, 51, said, “A Beatle and John Travolta. Legends. Icons.”
Travolta explained that he'd gone backstage after seeing Starr perform and the musician had asked him to sing with him.
“So we sang [Beatles classic] ‘I Get By With a Little Help from My Friends,' ” theGreaseactor recalled.
Travolta then revealed that Starr was actually “the second Beatle" he'd sung with, as he'd already performed with Paul McCartney “in the parking lot of a Tom Ford party years ago.”
Travolta revealed that McCartney had proposed the duet by telling him, “I represented the 60s, you represented the 70s, we should sing.”
Fallon then gushed that Travolta also “represented the 80s [and] 90s,” adding that the star is “everything.”
Elsewhere in the interview, thePulp Fictionstar discussed his 26-year-old daughter,Ella Bleu's performance as a flight attendant in his directorial debut,Propeller One-Way Night Coach.

The movie is based on Travolta's 1997 book of the same name, about an 8-year-old boy named Jeff who loves aviation and takes a cross-country flight with his mom to Hollywood. Travolta wrote the book for his late son,Jett.
Propeller One-Way Night Coachpremiered at the 2026Cannes Film Festivalon Friday, May 15.
After a clip featuring Ella was shown, host Fallon noted that Ella is "fantastic,” to which Travolta replied in agreement. "A star is born right," he said.

During hisTonight Showinterview, Travolta also opened up aboutreceiving the festival's annual Honorary Palme d'Or, which he told Fallon he “didn't expect at all,” adding that it was a “complete secret” that not even his team knew about.
Theactor went on to explain that he thinks the decision to give him the prestigious award occurred around five months before and that it was “unheard of in the history of Cannes.”
Travolta had previously reflected on the honor in a Saturday, May 16Instagram post, in which he shared a photo of himself smiling while wearing one ofhis viral beret looksat the festival.
“I've never been more proud to win an award!” he captioned the picture. “To me, the Cannes Palme d'Or award has always represented art at its finest. It is beyond a humbling experience.”
