Max George shared a sweet Instagram post wishing his mother Barbara a happy birthday on Thursday, while he prepares for open heart surgery in hospital. The Wanted singer, 36, revealed last week he was spending Christmas in hospital after being forced to seek medical help after having an undiagnosed heart condition. After doctors ran further tests, Max revealed he will need to fitted with a pacemaker - a device that stops the heart from beating too slowly after they found an issue with the 'bottom part of his heart'.
