The first-time nomineetook home the Best Actor awardfor playing twins Smoke and Stack inRyan Coogler's decorated vampire period piece,Sinners, and his celebrity peers are taking the opportunity to sing his praises on social media. Everyonefrom hisAll My Childrencostarsto hisBlack Panthercastmates and fellow Oscar winners are cheering on the 39-year-old, who became the sixth Black actor to win the Academy Award for Best Actor on Sunday night.
Soap legend Susan Lucci, who playedAll My Children's Eric Kane since her character debuted on Jan. 16, 1970 to the last broadcast episode on Sept. 23, 2011,took to Instagram to praise her former costar, who starred on the daytime soap when he was a young teen.
"Congratulations @michaelbjordan on your Oscar! I watched last night and was so excited to see you win," Lucci captioned a photo of her and Jordan from an episode. "AND what a beautiful, gracious, and authentic acceptance speech you gave. So proud to have worked with Michael onAMC!!! What a spectacular actor he is!!!👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉❤️"
Walt Willey, who played Jackson Montgomery, the adoptive father of Jordan's Reggie Montgomery onAll My Children,echoed Lucci's sentiment in his Instagram postand shared a sweet memory from his days working with Jordan.
"CONGRATULATIONS to myAMCson, 'Reggie,' Michael B. Jordan, for last night's Oscar win! Such a proud father am I," he captioned a series of shots of him and Jordan from his days on the soap. "All of us atAMCknew that Michael was going to be BIG! When he came on set after a meeting with our Executive Producer and — with tears in his eyes — shared thatAMCwould not be picking up his contract, we all had the same reaction: 'You're on to bigger and better things, MJ!' And, boy, was he ever!"
Willey revealed that Jordan would catch a ride with him to and from whenever their schedules aligned, since they both lived in New Jersey. "We enjoyed each other's company and I found him to be a fascinating and earnest young man, with strong family ties, a fantastic work ethic and decent to the bone," the soap star shared. "And he still is all that. So congratulations again — and ALL LOVE — to one of the hardest working and most deserving actors out there!"
Miles Teller, a more recent costar of Jordan's, took fans behind the scenes of their daysfilming 2014'sThat Awkward Momentwith his post on X.
"What's up, Blue!!!! So proud of my guy @michaelb4jordan," Teller captioned a photo of him and Jordan pulling funny faces at the camera. "Top of the mountain."
Teller and Jordan also costarred in 2015's movieFantastic Four, alongside Jamie Bell and Kate Mara, although that probably isn't a creditthat either of them are interested in revisiting.
Kerry Washington kept her praise concise yet poignanton Threads, writing, "MICHAEL B. JORDAN!!!!! Talent. Discipline. Generosity. Grace. So proud of you @michaelbjordan. 🏆👏🏾"

Fellow Best Actor in a Leading Role winnersWill SmithandJamie Foxxsent Jordan some love after he honored them as part of the previous Black winners of the ceremony's major award during his acceptance speech.
Smithshared a photo of Jordan holding up his award on Instagramand captioned the post, "CONGRATS, Beloved. Makin' History!"
Foxx shared a video of Jordan's winning moment,paying tribute to his critically acclaimed portrayal of the twinswho return to their hometown to open a juke joint, only for their nighttime festivities to draw the attention of vampires.
"I can barely breathe right now... you were absolutely incredible in this film," Foxx, 58, began the caption of his post. "An amazing actor, an amazing director — truly all of the above. Tonight we celebrate you: your talent, your mystique, and your incredible passion for the craft."
Foxx went on to declare that Jordan "deserve(s) two Oscars for this one," adding, "When I sat down to watch the movie, I already knew it was going to be special the moment I saw a pair of Jordans on screen. Then the first line — 'Are you guys twins?' and you hit us with, 'No... we cousins!' — man, I was locked in from there. Congratulations, my brother @michaelbjordan. You're operating in rare air right now. Celebrate it to the fullest... and trust me, the after-party is going to be crazy."
