Sabrina Carpenter and Paul Simon kick off SNL's 50th Anniversary Special with Homeward Bound performance
Sabrina Carpenter and Paul Simon shared a duet to open the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday evening in New York City. The 25-year-old pop star and 83-year-old Simon & Garfunkel icon performed an acoustic rendition of the group's 1966 tune Homeward Bound. Simon noted at the beginning of their set that he first appeared on the long-running comedy series during season two in 1976 to sing the song with George Harrison.
